Completed Season Row

I have been busy stitching on Summer Row after Crystal Christmas, in order to complete the entire season row collection by Bent Creek.

Design: Summer Row by Bent Creek #BC1084
Fabric: 28ct Sapphire Linen
Thread: DMC
My most favourite part in this design - the little red crab!

And now I have the all four in special wooden box frame!

Crystal Christmas.....Completed!

After about two and half years of stitching, I finally finished Crystal Christmas in late January. It is considered as one of my "huge" project like Eastern Treasures.

And now, I would like to present you the completed Crystal Christmas.......without the designated Mill Hill Crystal Treasure, but replaced with Swarovski crystal star pendant :)

Design: Crystal Christmas © Mirabilia
Fabric: 32ct Belfast White Linen

Thread: DMC, Kreinik Metalic, Raiwbow Gallery
Bead: Mill HIll

How could you resist the gorgeous snow angle who is holding with 3 draped bead roping on hands? Let alone the chorus of fa-la-la-la-la's making your heart burst out.

The Mill Hill gold petite glass beads really made the dress stand out well.

To be frank, I feel so relieved after finishing this piece of work. I am still considering if I should start the Angel Proclamation, which has been claimed as companion to Crystal Christmas. I bought this design years back and yet it is still sitting quietly in my stash.

Hillside Travelers Done!

Hillside Travelers has finally been done. It took me a lot more time than I have planned. I was hoping this could be done within 2 weeks, but in the end it took way longer than expected. It is my bad to abandon it in a box :(

Design: Hillside Travelers © LHN
Fabric: 32ct Permin Linen -  Amber

Thread: DMC

Now, I will have to concentrate on Crystal Christmas! Till then, enjoy stitching......

Book Haul Part 1

I have been meaning to share this book haul for like a month ago, and here it is!

As many of you may know that I am truly, exceptionally, very much fond of French cross stitch designs. And I was so lucky to find these book in Japanese version, which relatively cheaper compare to the original French version.
